Evan Crane's "Drip Drop Mirror" is an elegant and minimal wall-mounted mirror with unique shelf storage. It is intended to be a feature piece in the home that's both functional and sculptural. Evan hand forms the thin bronze bar perimeter into an iconic "Drop" shape. "It was important to keep the materials to a minimum so that one could focus attention on the dynamic shape". The story of the "Drop" was especially significant to Evan, " I wanted to capture a specific moment in the life of the Drop, not the traditional tear shape but the moment before the drop falls. There is an amazing amount of tension bound up in that particular form. It is fluid, and singular at the same time, part of the whole but with its own individual personality at the same time".
